DuoDisk problem

Recently, the DuoDisk drive on my //e cannot reliably read any 5.25"
disks I attempt to boot.  The disks I tested boot normally on my ][+
(with Disk ][) and my ROM3 GS (w/Unidisk 5.25").  The symptoms vary
from partial booting to no boot at all.  Sometimes the Duodisk reports
I/O error's which are non-existant when checked on my other //e's Disk
][.

I have tried cleaning the heads of the DuoDisk using a 3M disk cleaner
but the same problems still manifest.

I'm thinking maybe the drive speed of the DuoDisk is off somehat or
the drive itself is trashing my disks due to some fault.

Any input appreciated.
