Not only may not be compatible, but I seem to remember that Photonix needed
an update to even work on ROM 3s..  I'm less sure, but I thought that it 
doesn't even work with all various 3.5" disks (i.e. UniDisks, cheaper third
party drives that needed a special card, etc).  Doesn't it only work on
Smartport drives?
