Not neccessarily, some Apple products did use rewgular EPROMs.

With something like the IIe it's not a problem as it's compatible with 
regular EPROMs. The graphics tablet is a bit older and I wonder if like 
the II+ it might use something non standard for the ROMs. With the II+ 
a simple addapter is all that's required. Likely the same case here but 
I don't know. Maybe it's time for me to experiment a bit.
