If you want to use the serial interface with the Apple Igs (can also be used
with an Apple IIc), set the control panel slot 1 to "printer."
If you use the parallel interface, you will need to add a parallel card, such
as the Grappler+, and then set slot 1 to "Your card." (This is assuming you
want the printer in slot 1.) That is the only "switch" there is.
