Memory expansion for II+

Well, actually for IIeuroplus but I think that is the same.
I found a card that seems to be a 16K ram expansion. I know that it goes
in slot 0 but I don't know where the cable starting from the card should
end. There's no free socket on the board so I guess that I should
replace one of the chip on the board with the connector at the end of
the cable. but which is the rigth one?

Also, how do I activate the new memory? Is there a program to do that or
software that can take advantage of the expansion automatically
recognize it?
