Wayne, if you could send me a board from and older drive, I should be
able to compare and mod that one as well.  All we do is short out the
sensor.  I've done thismod to a couple different style drives.  I
developed this mod on a Laser 128, then did it to a IIc drive.  This
last one with pictures at the aforementioned website we with a drive I
had handy.

I've opened a duo disk and although the connector is labeld differently,
and there are two of them, the pins the sensor are on are the same, all
I have to do is trace the pins to a solderable place on the board.  I
may dig around the junque pile at AppleLinc and see if I can't find one
ofthe boards you mention and perform the modification to it as well.
