Re: 5.25 Drive to a Mac?
Copy the files to a Prodos 3.5 inch format disk and
let the Mac do the conversion. That is assuming of course
that the make has an 800k disk. The Mac Plus I used
to own could read Prodos formatted disk. If it is
an iMac, I don't think that will work anymore. The
other method would be to get a null modem connection
between the Mac and the IIc and use terminal software
to copy the files across. The mac uses a special connector
and I would assume the IIc has a 25-pin serial. I don't
know if the IIc supported the Super Serial card and
if you had Modem/terminal settings. If it does, set the
serial for Terminal and you don't need a null modem
connection. I have a IIgs and a PC and that is how I
transfer files between them. I would recommend getting
File2Disk as it would allow you to make snapshots of
your floppies. It is available for download on a lot of
the Apple II FTP sites.
