Granted, some sellers are not especially good at PR.
Even so, if you own the rights to a piece of Apple II software, then, you
can withdraw it from free distribution and try to sell it. And, if you're in
the business of selling something, you are _supposed_ to be kind of "greedy",
at least in the sense of wanting to make lots of money.
There are thousands of Apple II software titles you can copy and trade
without including those few titles owned by someone who wants to sell them.
