Hmm. Doubling the sync frequency without doing anything
to the video seems a little worthless...
So every odd line of the VGA shows the first half of a line
and every even line shows (most of) the second half of the
line--with a band around the middle of the IIgs screen missing
because of retrace blanking on the VGA?
To get the desired result, it is necessary to double not only
the sync rate, but reproduce each input line twice in the time
that it takes to receive it once. This implies a need to store
at least one line of incoming video.
