Just a guess...given the speeds you mentioned, it could be a SCSI-to-Token
Ring adapter (just as there were SCSI-to-Ethernet adapters, similar devices
were no doubt available for Token Ring). Unless you have other Token Ring
equipment, it'll be more or less useless.
