Despicable!  There are SO MANY other worthwhile reasons to attack Charles!  Like

I've just had an epiphany!  This would explain the sudden unexplained changes in 
Cousin Gizmo!  What.. This happened about 8 years ago?  ;)

can't program, so they steal programs.  They can't design a card to save their 
lives, so they steal someone elses work.
