Does anyone have any recommendations for hooking a 50 pin SCSI port to Compact Flash or SD? I'd like to be able to use SD/CF with either my Apple II SCSI card or my old Mac. I have searched the net but most of the information is dated and not helpful (in my opinion). I realize going from SCSI to IDE is not straightforward but I have read about devices performing the conversion.
I have tried several different kinds of SCSI<->IDE devices and converters out there in attempts to go all solid state with my old macs. I've succeeded to some degree - The mac that had an IDE hard drive interface is now solid state.
The toughest thing for me about going through two adapters to get to SCSI was finding software that would believe the CF card on the other end was really a spinning platter and partition and format it. I've come close, but still haven't hit upon a solution that works.
