Big Bad Block Buncher (BBBB) by Jawaid Bazyar, 1989.  Formerly shareware,
but now freeware.  ground.ecn.uiowa.edu apple2 archives
apple2/apple8/Utils/bbbb.bsq

Works great on ANY (write-able) Prodos block volume (5.25, 3.5, harddisk)

The Finder under GS/OS will test for bad blocks, but not mark them in the
VTOC.

Good luck!  (A word of advice for disks with bad block(s):  copy
every file you can to a second disk.  Reformat the old disk.  If reformat
fails - throw the old disk away!  It will only get worse :-) )
