Thanks for all of the replies. Well, I couldn't pass it up. I bought it
from a local ARC (kind of a Good Will store) for $7.49. Bought a new ink
cart (which ironically was *three and a half times* the cost of the printer
it went into), downloaded the drivers from Apple's tech info site and
hooked it to my Power Tower Pro.
Works like a charm. Kinda slow compared to the ink jets these days, but
sure makes crisp text. Oh well, a nice back up printer for cheap.
