Apple IIe card for LC IV?

My dad is an old apple guy and I gave him an LC II with the IIe card in
it. He loves it. (Still hasn't tossed out the original machine though!)
I've got an LC IV so my question is, will it run the card?

Any input or suggestions on this would be really helpful.

Also, are emulators faster than the card on something like a Power PC?
What's a good emulator?
