ADT1.22 (PCDOS) and ADT1.22(Win) questions...

I have been running ADT 1.22 both versions for a few days now on my Win95 ors/2
 laptop with no problems of the lockup described in the ADT docs with either
version.  I have noticed that I get CRC errors about 50% of the time when
transfering from Apple to Laptop. (Usually 3 to 6 per transfer)  I also notice
that between versions but the same disk I'm trying to transfer sometimes gives
me totally different Track/Sector area errors.  Sometimes one version gives
errors while the other won't.
Bottom line question: Is this a speed of transfer issue or a reading of the
media issue?  Are there any tests I should try to
confirm/troubleshoot/eliminate the errors?
