db25 to db25 cables are a bit harder to find, you might have to do a bit of
searching
if you want one. You can also likely find a cable meant for other uses that
will do the
trick..
As I understand your setup you have an Apple Hi-Speed SCSI card, a hard drive
with
two db25 connectors and a CD-ROM with two centronics 50 connectors?
If so then first you want to make sure the HD has a higher SCSI id than the
CD-ROM,
6 would be the best. If neither drive is internally terminated then what I'd
try is to
connect the CD-ROM to the SCSI card with a db25 to Cent50 cable. Then on the
CD-ROMs other connector I'd put a pass through terminator and use another db25
to
centronics cable to hook the HD to that.
If the HD is internally terminated then skip the pass through terminator. If
the CD is
internally terminated then remove the internal terminators.
If you have Mac friends, you can probably get a couple db25 to centronics
cables from
them. Seems like every SCSI peripheral came with one and most owners have no
use
for the extra ones.
