As long as you have at least 1 MB of RAM, I'd suggest upgrading to
System 6.0.1. It doesn't have a Y2K problem in the Time control panel.
In addition, it is worth noting that the Control Panel CDA (text mode)
is quite happy to let you set the date to 2000 (00) or later.
