Re: TransWarp ][: any info?



As I recall, the TWII only has an 8K high-speed cache. I'm guessing that
your program plus document is large enough to force the TW to fairly
constantly use motherboard 1 Mhz RAM. That results in a dramatic speed hit.

I generally found that, on the whole, the 8 Mhz TransWarp II with its 8K
cache was effectively no faster than the 3.6 Mhz TransWarp I that had 128K
of 3.6 Mhz RAM.
