That'd be Disk First Aid. Disk Doctor is a commercial program that's
part of the Norton Utilities.
I never had any problems with an HFS partition on the IIGS using the
modified HFS.FST that came out several years back. When I hooked up
my HD to my Mac to make images of the HD, I checked the HFS partition
and there wasn't any errors on it after 4+ years.
