Well, he could drop that icon completely, since you won't see it at
all unless you're already using Internet Explorer.... :-)))
 
Since those web pages are misbehaving so much if you don't use
Internet Explorer, the best thing would be to have those pages detect
the browser type, and then just display a message telling the visitor
to get Internet Explorer if he uses another browser than that one.
