Just to make sure you're not going down a dead end, PC-based Mac emulators
can't read or write 800k floppy disks - neither the HFS nor ProDOS format.
They also can't do Localtalk through the serial port of the computer.
The only emulator I know which requires the Mac Classic's ROM is Basilisk
for which there is no Windows port as far as I know.
Some versions of Basilisk II (of which there is a Windows port) also support
Classic emulation but your mileage may vary.
