     Sounds like The Eternal Dagger. The Phantasie series (I-III) and The
Wizard's Crown are other possibilities; but, 'Eternal Dagger fits your info
best. Also, it is a very good game-- among the top three or four adventures
ever released by SSI for Apple II.
