Perhaps a more fitting way would have been
for me to teach purely by example. I will strive

What is fitting for a man of the cloth is the
same thing that is fitting for every Christian...
Galatians 5:22-23 sums this up nicely...

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control...

Neither your arrogance (nor mine) fits
this bill...
