Ignore Roy's apparent tone, he can't help but make sarchastic and
frequently demeaning comments. He claims to not do this on purpose and
I believe him, it's just Roy.
However, his sentiment is correct. The Apple II (8-bit) market has long
gone. Cloneing would be pointless because of the glut of cheap used
machines available. However, if they did release anything, it would
acknowledge the value of the Apple II computer as a viable, useful
platform even to this day and age. I don't think Apple Corp would like
that at all. Apple Corp still wants you to buy one of their cool new
PCs, even if you don't need it.
