I may see your problem - memory space. The ROM 03 has a meg on the motherboard,
and assuming you have a full meg on the expansion card, your 03 has two megs to
work with. However, your ROM 01 only has 256K on the mother board, so with the
expansion card, you only have 1.25 megs, and it is possible, given other
factors (like inits) that you don't have enough RAM to boot.

Of course, it is possible that there are other problems too - can you give us
the error #? I might not be able to find the answer, but I'm sure Jeff or Ruby
probably know it off the top of their head.
