Then it's no longer a .dsk file but a .po file.  A .dsk file is by
definition in DOS sector order -- if you mess with that, a lot of
Apple II emulators will get confused.  So if you change the
sector order within the disk image, alsop be sure to change the
extension (i.e. the "file type") from ".dsk" to ".po".
 
BTW does anyone know of an extension used for Apple CP/M sector
order disk images?  Apple CP/M used a sector order different from
both Apple DOS and Apple Pascal/ProDOS.
