Re: Arghhhh with PC--->Apple over Null Modem Cable

I didn't know you could run Linux on top of Windows 2000!
Would this mean it could be removed once 'the deed was done'?

That would have been the best way to go. I could have grabbed a SCSI drive,
plugged it in, moved the files over and than plugged the drive into the
//gs.

As it turned out, I grabbed buddy's burner and bought a CD-ROM off of e-bay.
So now I'm going to move them over via CD.

You can get around the whole 32meg horse %@#& by making a HFS drive. I have
one that's a full two gigs. You can't run ProDos stuff off of them but you
can just move the apps/games you want to use over to a 'normal' 32meg ProDos
partition.

Thanks for the answer. Had I known that I could run Linux ontop of Windows
2000 I would have tried it.....as I have extra SCSI drives..

Best;
Marvin
