OK, you can of course ignore those passages of the bible you dislike
and just read those you like.  But then others can do the same, and
they'll probably like passages different from those you liked!  In
the end, it's really only your own ideas you present -- then you
should say "I think so" and not "the bible says so", because the
bible says a lot of different things, many of which contradict one
another, and you were the one who chose what to pick!
