Hi Kim,

I had the same problem converting IIGS disk copy images from my mac to my
IIGS.  A program called FileTyper
(http://www.eskimo.com/~pristine/diskfile.html) will fix the disk image.
For some reason Disk Copy doesn't create the right creator for the disk copy
images and filetyper lets you target another disk copy image and convert the
IIc image to a true diskcopy format.

Here's what to do:
1.  Create a disk copy image of some macintosh disk on your mac.
2.  Run Filetyper, open the IIc disk image.
3.  Target the disk copy image of the mac disk you previously made.
4.  Save your IIc disk image with the new creator info.
5.  Run Disk Copy and extract your disk IIc disk image to a prodos disk.

If you have problems using a high density 3.5 disk, you can put some tape
over the open notch and that will let you format the disk as a double
density 800k prodos disk.  WARNING over time that disk might become corrupt
from using the tape, but it's a temporary fix.
