When I had my IIgs in the early 90's I picked one of these up. The
controller is inded hardwired for the drive size. I had the 40MB
version, and I though the drive was going. I couldn't replace it, and
sold the whole shebang. The new owner did some checking and found out
that the power supply had gone, and I think get got it fixed somehow or
another. Anyway, the HD size is fixed in the controller. When I do get
a chance (and some space) to get another GS, I'd love to get one of the
SCSI internal cases, although I forget the name now. It sure would be
nice :)
