Help Needed: Problem w/Apple IIc KB

I hope someone here cvan shed some light on a problem I'm having. A
coworker asked me to help fix an Apple IIc Keyboard problem he;'s
having (I'm a support tech at work - IBM only). Three of the keys
when pressed display several erroneous characters on the screen. The
three keys are the "zero" the "minus" and the "plus" keys. I hope I
identified all them, they are the top row last numer (zero) and the
two immediately to the right of the 0. All the other keys work fine.
Originally I thought it was "keybounce" but they don;t actually
display the correct cjharacter and several display when pressed.

Does anyoine have any ideas as to the cause? I tried pulling the
keycap and spraying air but it doesn;t really seem to be a dirt
problem. Is there an easy way to pull the case (I see several screws
heads on the bottom) but can't seem to seperate the case to see if
something is possibly shorting the keyboard perhaps. I fear it might
be some IC that controls the KB. Oh well, I told him I'd try.
Apparenrtly he actively uses it for some wordprocessing purposes and
wants to keep using it.

Thanks,
