I just came across a small board made by Sony (thier # 1-619-250-15) but
marketed directly by Apple (Apple # 076-0234). The box says, INTFC,DAISY
CHAIN, 3.5 DR. It has a female DB-19 connector, a short strip of ribbon
cable attached to a female 20 pin connector, and a male 20 pin connector
on the board. There are also a red two pin male connector and a white two
pin one marked cn104 and cn 105. There is a hole for a mounting screw I
assume but it does not use a slot. The letters KBX and IF-89 are painted
on it.
Can anyone tell me what it is for and how it is connected please? I'm
hoping that it provides a way to connect a 3.5" drive to a IIe.
