Classic problem. I get this all the time.

Try copying all the files from a disk into an empty folder, reformatting the
disk as ProDOS in the Macintosh Finder, and copying the files back. Do that
for every disk.

Whether this works or not actually varies from system to system, System
Folder to System Folder, disk drive brand to disk drive brand, and who knows
what else.
