Thanks to everybody who offered advice.

It gave me hope and I bought the //e, but I think I'm in more trouble
than I thought.

I inserted several of the disks that came with it, and the duodisk drive
does a rattling sound for about two seconds when I start or reset the
computer. Is that normal or is it fubar? Any way to tell it to use the
right drive for startup?

Thanks for helping a newbie trying to give a home to old computers...
