Sounds like a good idea, but for now I would like to keep it relatively
cheap so I have a keyspan USB to Serial adaptar which allows me to connect
old Printers and modems to the G4 but it says its not Appletalk compatible
so is there a cable that i could make that would in effect give me a null
modem connection? this would be the cheapest option for me I would think?
any suggestions on the software I could use and then how can i get that
software onto my GS if all I have is the 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 drives?

My understanding is that these drives only read/write 800 (for the 3 1/2 at
least!) but I dont have such a drive available on my G4 only a HD 1.44
superdisk from imation which reads and writes 1.44 disks as well as 120MB
disks. all help is most welcome as I would really like to get some use out
of my GS and let my son use it as hes main computer.

also please could someone direct me to where the FAQ's are for the Apple
IIgs

thankyou.
