GBBS program on Asimov but I can't download it because it seems to be
protected on the FTP server. I can see it but
It should not even be there. The program is commercial software, and is not
freeware, PD, or shareware. The name maybe there, but I asked that it be
removed. I own the rights to it, and have done some updating, but my job has
taken me away from home for months at a time and I have not had much time to
work on it. I take it with me to work on code changes, but could not test it.
Now I have XDSL on my Mac at home and the II is now linked via AppleTalk, so I
can move files back and forth between the machine and over the net to me. I can
now test it via that way as if I was local and test the program and if it works
leave it in place, if not put it back the old way. Maybe in Feb. I'll have
more time to deal with it. Once I get the program the way I want it any
registered SysOps will be able to get updates, cost will depend on what version
they have and what is needed. My BBS is up, or it was up last night, there is
limited support if you have access to those areas.
Apple Elite II 909-359-5338. Home of GBBS/LLUCE, support for the
Apple II 24 hours 2400/14.4. An OggNet Server.
