Check out www.foxvalley.net
A lot of us Apple II users have migrated to foxvalley.net, in part
because the owner is a unix geek, uses a shell himself, and is committed
to offering shell access.
Although foxvalley.net is located somewhere in or near Chicago, I have 2
local access numbers here in California. I also can connect via PPP, and
best of all, the cost is under $16 a month.
Before anyone thinks I'm a shill for foxvalley.net, I'm not. I'm just
happy with their system, and recommend them to any other Apple II user
who wants a shell account.
