I learned basic for the TRS-80 color computer in the summer between 2nd
and 3rd grade at the sitter's house. In third grade, we had Apple IIe's
and I learned LOGO on them. Then I went without computers until the
sixth grade, when I was back to doing BASIC on a TRS-80 III. I moved,
and the new school had Apple IIe's. This time my work was in 6502
assembly. I did that until I got a PC-XT my senior year of high school
(1993/94).

I've always used "obsolete" equipment. Heck, yesterday my employer gave
me an old dual processor P-133 system that they no longer use. My first
multi-processor machine.. :)
