Winnipeg Apple Users Group XMas meeting (last announcement)

	This is the last one about this topic for a year. I promise. ;-)

	It is *this* Wednesday at Daniel Macintyre Collegiate (on Alverstone,
North of Sargent) at 7:30 pm in the staff room. The meeting is pot luck
this year instead of the regular $2.00 admission to the XMas meeting
(other meetings are do not have admission associated with them). 

	Most Canadians know where Winnipeg is. Folks from Toronto can't even
find Ajax or Pickering. ;-) For Americans wishing to attend (we have had
a few over the years) North Dakota and Northern Minnesota are within
reasonable driving distance. Anybody South of Grand Forks ND should make
careful plans if they plan on attending (I advise filling your gas tank
in Pembina because gas is more expensive here). Also you can not bring
guns across the border. North of Grand Forks and you can drop by on a
whim. The weather should be clear but cold.

	Normally the XMas meeting is just about socialising. We have had a
number of people show up with parts to sell. Lately computer retailers
just send hard copies of their price list for external peripherals. Some
people bring old computer magazines and hardware for private trades or
sale. Attendance is usually less than double our normal meetings so
don't expect crowds of people. We will have our disk library there if
someone wants some software (or wants to increase *our* collection).

	One thing I will be talking about to the members is the possibility of
writing a web server as a project for next year.
