My first access to a `personal computer' was a Wang we had at high school.
I then played with TRS-80 & PET computers in stores and bought an OSI
Challeger 1P (6502, 8K BASIC, 4K RAM, 24x24 screen). Later I bought a //e
clone (MPF-III). Since then I have been given or bought 2nd hand another
three //e, a //gs, a couple of //c and a ][+ motherboard.
I am now using PCs mainly (from a 486DX-4 100 through 586-P75 & 6x86-MII PR200
to 2x Cel433 in SMP mode in an Abit BP6).
I think the nicest 8 bit micro was the 6809.
