I haven't seen any browbeating or personal attacks here on csa2 in many, many
weeks, and I've never seen any on Delphi, so I'm left wondering what "small corner
of Apple II" you are referring to, since you used the present tense, instead of the
past tense. Further, even when there was a lot of heat here on csa2, I've seen
little or none directed toward developers of old (10 yrs +) software on the II or
IIGS, from any quarter. "Vogons" or "Pirates", I've never seen any of them attack
developers for not releasing as freeware some of their software, nor for not
releasing source code.

BTW - on a slightly different thread, I've read recently (on Delphi I think) where
a number of authors have expressed a desire to see their software released as
freeware, but that their publisher still has the rights to publish the software,
and getting permission from publishers (or those who bought them out, or who bought
out the company that bought out the company that bought the publisher out) is tough
because they can't be bothered. Sad, but that's the situation for many.

It certainly is sad that people can't even express common courtesy.
