I still haven't tried iphone explorer, but I have successfully
installed disk images for activegs using tools available on a
jailbroken ipad2. First I installed the 5 harddrive images I usually
mount with KEGS or Sweet16. It actually worked the first/second time
without problem. Firsttime was boot drive only. Secondtime was
adding the other 4 images as disk="2", disk="3" etc. Now my problem
for GS/OS6.0.1 is Finder complains it is low on memory. I need to
learn how to increase memory size for activegs. I hope that is an
option. I want to increase from 2Meg to 4Meg memory (or more).

The next venture was even more exciting for me. I installed and am
running classic Appleworks 5.1 with all my Timeouts etc. on my ipad
with bluetooth keyboard. Even the screen blanker is working!
(melting pixels) At first I could not save files, but chmod ugo+rwx
Appleworks.raw under root access in the Documents folder fixed that.
The appleworks system is now read/write. Learning how to turn on BT
keyboard was biggest obstacle. 2nd is getting used to using modifier
and other ctrl keys from the bottom of screen because the Apple SDK
for keyboards doesn't support modified keyes (esc, command, option,
arrows, etc.). But the interface is very workable. Neat.

It is just so cool to run Appleworks on an ipad! It will be a small
hassle getting files in and out of AW5.1 on the ipad, but the
challenge is a doable sport.

I will try iPhone Explorer soon, but I am not sure how to tackle some
of issues without a jailbreak.

Enjoy!
