Somehow I think we got mixed up here. My references were only for the
original era of the II. Software, piracy and other Apple II issues in
today's environment are a completely different issue, some of which I
simply prefer to avoid and most which have already been hashed to death.
Personally I see no reason to attempt creating a new software market for
II programs. It isn't something that one could justify for the time
invested. I would however like to see a movement towards more open source
programs. Not necessarily for the code or information sharing but more as
a method of community involvement.
