I felt exactly the same way, when I finally was able to send and receive
files between my PC and A2e. I think I danced a gig or something like that.
It's sort of funny how these small victories can be so big on the excitement
scale.
I have an old Morrow MD3 that I had for ages before I was able to find the
information that I needed to get it hooked up to a terminal, and find a boot
disk for it. It was a bookend for quite a while before that, and finally
seeing the boot text flash up on the screen was another high point on my
list of small but exciting moments, with vintage computers.
Of course, I'm sure that the old timers would probably bust a gut laughing
at what I consider "exciting moments" but nonetheless, I can understand your
happiness.
