Re: ZipGSx Upgrade Questions (I've read the FAQ's)
Hi Wayne;
I'm just researching the cache chip aspect of the Zip upgrade and was
wondering what speed of chips you managed to get?
I was looking at IDT's stuff and found that they *are* making 12ns
.600 wide SRAM's !! The document was dated August 2000, no less.
Anyway, just wanted to know what you had used and what speed you got
using it. You probably mentioned it before but my brain is getting
overloaded on the electronic parts issues. Oh, I found a company with
a distributor in Richmond that does claim to make **ALL** the
oscillators from 1Mhz ----> 100Mhz. If true, I gues I should be able
to squeeze every last drop from the Zip! Finding .600 chips will asve
the $$$ too!!
Best;
Marvin
