It might also be worth noting whether the machine is a ROM 1 or ROM 3,
though I doubt this would make much difference. The ZipGS is probably
designed to assume a ROM 3 (as far as ROM caching is concerned), and it
doesn't need to know about motherboard vs memory expansion card RAM.
We now need people with 8 KB and 32 KB of cache to run the program and
see where the cache limit kicks in to confirm the expected 1 MB and 7 MB
limits. Other clock speeds are of lesser interest, as this program
doesn't run long enough to get a good benchmark.
I could remove half the RAM from my Zip, but it is working fine and I
don't want to touch it.
My original ZipGS (64K cache) is unreliable, but I could try it in my
ROM 1 IIgs with the cache reduced to 32K. (If I remember right, it
works for a couple of hours then starts crashing.)
