There was at least one third-party LCD as well. "The Display" from ATOR
(Nibble, October 1985: US$595) was a full size display, unlike Apple's
half-height one. I also remember seeing ads for the carry bag with the
built-in battery, which was also available bundled with an LCD. Found it!
