Re: Schoolastic Echo card question.
I have a system 5 GS disk and thats all. I tried downloading the system
disks from a2central.com but I couldn't get them to binhex convert. So
I downloaded them through AOL 3 on my centris but they won't unstuff :(
I saw in your FAQ about the apple ftp site. Thats going to be my next
stop.
I was never much of an apple person until recently. This local project
I volunteer for was clearing out their warehouse of older computer
stuff and I grabbed a few dozen different apple/mac things. The first
time I saw an apple was in some rich girls house back in 1978. Her dad
was an investment banker of some sort and they had an apple. And the
most amazing thing was the floppy disk drive :)
She loaded up some sort of a 3d wire frame demo where you went inside a
house. I was totally amazed. I was also nowhere near the 2500.00 it
cost to buy one of them :) Now to see a pallet full of old apple IIe's
going to the dumpster is ironic.
Thanks for your info. I have your page bookmarked now.
