I have an OctoRAM in my ROM 1, with 4 MB installed.  I've even done a
partial circuit analysis of it, and it shouldn't have any DMA
compatibility problems as long as you only use 4 SIMMs.  If you install
8, it has to decode the bank address to get one extra bit, and this is
where DMA compatibility problems will occur.

I'm not sure when I got the Apple High-Speed SCSI card in relation to
switching to my ROM 3 and/or replacing the OctoRAM with an Applied
Ingenuity card, so I don't remember whether I've done DMA with it.
